Tomas R. Hernandez

Tomas R. Hernandez is Of Counsel to The Law Office Raphael A. Sanchez, P.A. Throughout his legal career, Tomas’ focus has been, and continues to be, the zealous representation of individuals and corporations against insurance companies who have wronged them. Tomas has extensive experience in Civil Litigation, specifically Personal Injury and Personal Injury Protection (“PIP”) cases.

Tomas is a first-generation American of Cuban descent and speaks fluent Spanish. He was born and raised in Miami, where he attended St. Agatha School, St. Brendan High School, and Florida International University (FIU). While at FIU, Tomas began his legal career in 2005 as a legal assistant to a local solo practitioner helping injured clients. In 2007, Tomas received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology graduating magna cum laude with honors from FIU.

Thereafter, Tomas moved to Jacksonville where he attended Florida Coastal School of Law (FCSL) earning his Juris Doctor in 2011. While at FCSL, Tomas was a law clerk at Camerlengo & Brockwell, served as the multi-cultural liaison for the American Association of Justice, and was a Student Body Representative.

Since then, Tomas has dedicated his career to representing victims at several high profile law firms throughout the state. While in Jacksonville, Tomas was an Associate Attorney at Camerlengo Law Group and Farah & Farah. Upon his return to Miami, Tomas continued to fight for his clients against the negligent and the insurance companies at Rubenstein Law, Steinger Iscoe & Greene, and Pacin Levine, P.A. With over a decade of legal experience, Tomas has represented and handled all forms of personal injury cases, including but not limited to car accidents, trucking accidents, slip and fall, trip and fall, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, premises liability, and dog bites.
