Nathalia Lozano
Associate Attorney
Nathalia received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University (FIU) in 2013. Nathalia received her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law (STU Law) in 2019, where graduated Cum Laude and earned a Certificate in Immigration Practice. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2019.
While in law school, Nathalia worked as a student representative for the St. Thomas Immigration Clinic where she helped represent low-income clients in Asylum, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), criminal issues, and Cancellation of Removal cases. Nathalia participated and coordinated various immigration pro bono projects including, but not limited to, Karnes Pro Bono Project, Refugee Somali Litigation, and provided assistance to those seeking naturalization through The Florida Immigration Coalition (FLIC). Nathalia received academic recognitions while in law school: CALI award of Excellence Book Award in Family Law and Dean’s List. Nathalia was the Treasurer of the Children & Family Law Society and an active member of the Immigration Law Student Association.
Nathalia began her legal career in a prominent South Florida Immigration firm as a litigation attorney. There she obtained extensive experience in immigration removal defense. Her experience includes asylum applications, adjustment of status applications, waivers for unlawful presence, cancellation of removal, special visas for crime victims, victims of domestic violence and juveniles, humanitarian deferred actions, and Parole in Place. Additionally, Nathalia has represented individuals in USCIS interviews and Immigration Courts across the nation.
Nathalia transitioned into Personal Injury Law by joining The Law Office of Raphael A. Sanchez in April 2022. As an attorney who empathizes with her clients, Nathalia understands how overwhelming the legal process can be, especially as an injured victim. Nathalia’s goal is to reduce unnecessary burdens from her clients by diligently guiding them through the legal process and making sure their needs are met. She does this in an effort to fight for her client’s rights and ensuring that they recover the maximum compensation they deserve all while providing personalized attention and support.
